     Summary of RMD Benefits*

Personal Time Off

     Initially, 15 days off per year in a personal job bank for sick leave, personal time and vacation accrued at 1.25 days per month. Eligibility increases as follows, as years of service increase:

15 years or more 25 days 2.083 days

Holidays

RMD observes 9 holidays per year. They are New Year's Day, Washington's Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Protect Yourself and Your Family

Health Insurance

     RMD offers the choice of a POS & an HMO health plan. The company subsidizes health insurance and provides the opportunity to purchase family insurance at group rates.

Life Insurance

     The company provides life insurance equal to your annual salary to a maximum of $50,000.

Disability Insurance

     Employees can participate in an employee-paid group short-term/long-term disability plan.

Workers Compensation

     Employees are covered by Workers Compensations starting on the first day of employment.

Section 125: Premium Only Plan

     RMD offers a plan to pay monthly medical premiums with before-tax.

Section 125: Flexible Spending Plan

     RMD offers a plan to budget out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses with before-tax dollars. Budgeted expenses are deducted from your gross pay before income and social security taxes are calculated. All new employees are eligable for the FSP the first day of the month following their hire date.

Save for Your Retirement

 401(k)

All new employees are eligible for a 401(k) plan at the beginning of the month after joining RMD, and any month thereafter.

Build Your Future

Tuition Reimbursement Plan

     RMD encourages career growth through academic courses. To assist those taking academic courses at recognized schools, RMD will partially reimburse employees for tuition and mandatory fees according to the following guidelines:

  • Maximum $500 per quarter and $1200 per year
  • 80% if course is specific to work
  • 50% if course is more general
  • A grade of B or better is required. (P/F courses do not come under this plan)
  • Must be an employee up to the date grade is given, plus 30 days.
